Researchers from Basrah University receive the NISA World Prize for Best Scientific Research

Researchers from Basrah University at Agriculture College, Dr. Rabiaa Jadoo Abbas, Dr. Khalid Jaleb Al Salihi and Dr. Sabah Kadhim Ali, receive the NISA World Prize for the best agricultural scientific research in 2017 at the Science Day which was held by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research at Baghdad University.

Al-Salihi mentioned that NISA is the Iraqi abroad scientists network, It’s a global, an independent identity, non-governmental and non-profit organization. As well as the reality that scientists working in international universities in Europe and America were contributed to the establishment of it. Also he explaining that their research named (The effect of using different levels of pomegranate (Punica granatum) peel powder on productive and physiological performance of Japanese quail (Coturnix coturnix japonica), which was published in Colombian journal named Livestock Research for Rural Development, won the NISA Award for Best Scientific Research for 2017 in Agricultural Research field, adding that it was the only research at Basrah University level to won that prize.
