University of Basra discusses toxic air pollutants

The Faculty of Science at the University of Basrah organized a seminar entitled "The toxic air pollutants” by the assistant professor Dr. Naif Mohsen Aziz. The most important air pollutants that cause cancerous tumors and congenital malformation in new births were discussed. The researcher mentioned that there was 178 air pollutant condition were recorded which causes toxicity. In which it was separated throughout the world including Iraq. That leads the citizen to be exposed to the emission of huge quantities of toxic air pollutants from oil activities and car exhaust products. The researcher called for increased environmental awareness to avoid the effects of these toxic pollutants.
