A research team with the participation of Mr. Sabah Hassan Tarish (Date Palm Research Center - University of Basrah), in cooperation with a research team from (Griffith University), one of the most prestigious Australian universities, published a scientific research in (Journal of Soils and Sediments), which is issued by the international publishing house (Springer). ) which is included in the first quarter (Q1) classifications within Scopus with (impact factor: 3.308), (Cite score: 5.2) and (H index: 73). The research dealt with the study of the long-term effect of controlled fires on the biological nitrogen fixation by acacia cultivars found in forests using the nitrogen 15 (N15) isotope and the water use efficiency using the carbon 13 (C13) isotope.
