Cultural center information
The University Theater Hall witnessed a cultural celebration looking to introduce the cultural center in the city of Basra to the birth of a group of talented young people, theater writers through the printing of the book (theatrical texts). The celebration was held in the presence of Prof. Dr. Zaki Abdullah, Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, who stated in his welcome speech the importance of supporting young people for a culture that achieves hope for a better life.
The celebration of signing the book came within the activities of our youth project, the third stage, which is a stage of production, creativity, continuity and communication.
The Director of the Cultural Center, Prof. Dr. Abdul Karim Abboud, mentioned in light of this rigid artistic and cultural life, the Cultural Center launched the project of our youth, the makers of life. Its most important active director, was the book, which included two parts of the theatrical products, the first belong to the forum of theatrical readings, and the second is the outputs of the the theatrical text writing course framed by the playwright Abdul Karim Al-Amri, the first plays, included the play (the last kiss) by the writer Muntaha Jassim Jaafar, (Mutimon) by Ahmed Taha, (visiting spirits) by Haydar Khalaf, (Root Journey) for Ali Ali Al-Mani, (five in the morning) by Abdul Adel Al-Rahman, (a parallel As for the plays of the theatrical text writing course, which witnessed the birth of texts with youth pens, including (hole legs), Zahra Al-Sermi, (Fear of nothing), Waiting Hassan Noir, (I did not better) the mother of the boys Majid and (Doll) Nada Majid (did you forget the dog) Ahmed Ibrahim and (it is too late) Al-Mansouri's Zam. The goal of this distinctive activity is to activate the theatrical movement in the city and revive it through theatrical texts presented by young playwrights to improve the history of the the the theater and preserve its historical achievement
The ceremony witnessed a prominent presence of academic personalities as well as intellectuals, artists and those interested in culture and theater affairs.
