he Cultural Center announces the names of the winners of the photographic competition (Right Road)
The Cultural Center at the University of Basra announced that the young Hussein Muslim won the award for the best picture capture of the electronic photo exhibition competition on the right road on the zoom platform, which was held under the slogan (the battle of kindness is culture and construction) within the activities of our youth life-makers project.
Regarding the competition, the Director of the Cultural Center stated that the competition witnessed the competition of 140 photos of the participants from the reality of the event and its intention. The selection committee was filmed by mobile, as the selection committee sorted the pictures and selected 20 photos for ten participants competing to win the best picture after the formation of a jury consisting of professional photographers who chose the best and was characterized by integrity and impartiality.
Abboud added, the exhibition, in which a number of young people participated, aims to trainees of the photography course managed by Mr. Mahmoud Al-Jazairy within the preparation and training courses for our youth project, life makers. It aims to take live pictures of the march of those who walk on the path of truth, heading with their spirits and minds towards Karbala and through the path of belonging to the revolution of Hussein (p) to believe their voices with the voice of truth
The Director of the Cultural Center, Prof. Dr. Abdul Karim Abboud Odeh, said that this Husseini event represents an innovative awareness in style, technology and preparation, through which our youth confirms that they are able to create change because they believe that the voice of truth will remain a person in every place and time.
In conclusion, the final statement and recommendations were read and the recommendations came, including encouraging young people and embracing their talents in order to chart the way for serious work in the future. The University of Basra, through its cultural center, will be a beam of this principle by opening its doors to young people for the purpose of developing them and qualifying their skills and focusing on participatory and collective work between the cultural center, official bodies and civil society organizations related to culture in the city of Basra with the aim of opening up to society and of course cooperation.
And continuing to establish theoretical and applied courses in all disciplines for young people, and courses will be associated with providing their outputs as community activities.
