The College of Engineering at the University of Basrah, in coordination with the civil defense teams, organized a sterilization campaign for the buildings, hallways, and campuses of the college as a pre-emptive and preventive measure to confront the dangers of the Corona virus, which has spread recently.
The Dean Administrative Assistant, Dr. Basem Taleb said that the campaign aims to invest the period of the official working hours interruption in order to take the necessary measures and carry out sterilization campaigns to preserve health security within the college
The campaign included spraying and sterilizing the college buildings, gardens, corridors, classrooms, terraces and roofs, as well as laboratories for scientific departments to sterilize and disinfect them with Varcon for safety and prevention.
