The College of Education for Pure Sciences at the University of Basra has discussed a master’s thesis on (proposing an enterprise resource planning system in developing green software)
The message presented by the researcher (Sarah Mahdi Yahya) included the importance of using ERP systems by organizations as a solution to improve their competitiveness because ERP systems provide a comprehensive view of the operations of the organization. As well as the challenges facing the implementation of ERP systems and the importance of understanding and applying these critical challenges while implementing ERP to ensure organizational success.
The thesis aims to develop a model that includes the implementation of the ERP system in the green software development environment through the application of green information technology practices, and the creation of an algorithm to implement the proposed model, and the implementation of the human resource unit is one of the ERP units.
The thesis concluded that it is possible to obtain high quality data within the organization by integrating and integrating the separate programs and processes with the ERP system, due to its importance in the organizations as a factor for the success of the ERP system. The success factors of the ERP system are also necessary to increase awareness and understanding of the importance of using the system towards security.
