On Wednesday morning, 13/10/2021, a master thesis entitled the poetry of the prose discourse of Imam Hassan (peace be upon him) was discussed in the Department of Arabic Language at the College of Arts.
The thesis presented by the student Ali Abbas Hadi included three chapters, the first chapter discussed the poetry of inspiration, the second chapter dealt with the poetry of news, while the third chapter discussed the poetry of displacement.
The thesis aims to shed light on the prose discourse of Imam Hassan (peace be upon him) because of its cognitive value and literary abundance, and its impact and astonishment on the recipient. This discourse was an applied field of poetry because of its ability to delve into discourses, whether they are modern or ancient.
The thesis reached the results on poetics as a structural and descriptive method based on deconstruction and installation and did not care about the direct content. It monitored the most prominent concepts and phenomena in the three main poetic levels that formed the research: inspiration, narration and displacement.
In conclusion, it can be said that this study has clarified and presented something new for those who want to study this immortal discourse from its other angles.
