A lecturers from Geology Department , College of Science, Dr. Wathiq Ghazi Abdulnabi, Dr. Maher Mandeel Mahdi, and Dr. Bassem Hamid Sultan participated in the second geological conference for the geology of the Iraqi Western Desert, which was held at the University of Anbar for the period from 13-15/10/2021. A large number of researchers participated in this conference.The conference included a scientific field trip in the western desert regions, including Haditha, Anah, Al-Baghdadi, Heait and others.. Dr. Wathiq Ghazi chaired one of the scientific sessions in the conference , while Dr. Maher Mandel and Dr. Bassem Hamid participated in a scientific research within the geochemistry field
