Assistant. Professor Dr. Salman Sahab Atshan, an academic teacher in the College of Dentistry has delivered a scientific lecture on the main practical basics in the needs of the sequenced polymerase chain reaction for the quantitative reverse transcription for the students of the Pathological Analyzes Department in the College of Science University of Basrah.
The lecture included an explanation of the principle, operation and technology of PCR procedure, studying of the factors affecting its efficiency, the benefits and drawbacks of the chemicals used in the reaction, and how to benefit from it in practical and research applications.
It is worth mentioning, that Assistant. Professor Dr. Salman Sahab Atshan, is one of the distinguished academic teachers and has several researches published in Arab and international journals.
