Al-Sabah newspaper, with its 4761 number, conveyed the demands of the College of Dentistry to the officials to find quick solutions for the expansion of the College.
The newspaper stated that the college, through its conferences, called upon the officials to contribute to changing the current state of the college and to provide a vast and large building so that it accommodates the new admissions, modern laboratories and specialized academic teachers to keep the pace with the scientific development taking place in advanced countries.
Lecturer.Dr. Sundus Abdul Wadood, Dean's Assistant in Scientific Affairs, "stated that the admissions for the past year, whose numbers went over 450 students from the Province of Basrah and other Iraqi provinces, was the reason for the aggravation of the problem, which in-turn made its negative affect on the student's scientific level."
Dr. Sundus added," our demands are still in affect for providing a better future for the graduated students."
