Assistant. Professor Dr. Fateh Al-Khakani, Dean of the College of Dentistry, has delivered a scientific lecture on the effect of elevation of lipid level in the patients with arterial obstructions diseases.
The lecture dealt with the importance of low lipid percentage for both of the heart diseases patients and dietetics, and its reflection on the complications and deaths percentages.
The lecture touched on the methods that are used globally in treating high lipid percentages.
The lecture aims to highlight the recommendations of the global organizations for heart diseases and diabetes, and the latest medications that are used to treat such cases.
It is worth noting that a scientific paper of understanding was signed earlier between the College of Dentistry and the College of Medicine University of Basrah, and among its stipulations, was delivering mutual scientific lectures between the two parties.
