University of Basrah held a seminar about the positive effects of pumpkin plant.
Pharmacy college at University of Basrah held a seminar about pumpkin plant entitled (investigations of the inhibitory effects of pumpkin seed extracts on microorganisms). The seminar was presented by the lecturer Rawaa Muhammad. The seminar highlighted the medicinal importance of the pumpkin plant because of its role in treatment of many diseases .The seeds of this plants have anti-growth effects on pathogenic microorganisms. These results of the study was conducted by a research team in Pharmacy College by working on the alcoholic extract of this plant.The research has emphasized that work needs further experiments and studies in order to prove the significant medical effects of the plant.
