The Department of Physics at the College of Science at the University of Basra held a scientific discussion session to approve the projects of master’s and doctoral students in the department for four master’s projects in the fields of optics and lasers, polymers and their applications, radiation and their applications in the medical fields, and 6 doctoral projects in the fields of molecular, nanotechnology and its applications, solar cells, photonic sensors, and thin films as well as its applications in thermal effects.
Students and supervisors discussed the objectives of each research project, and new ideas were proposed by the students in a scientific and methodical manner.
