The College of Fine Arts, University of Basra, organized a scientific symposium on ceramics between philosophy and art, with the participation of researchers and specialists from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
The seminar, which was held by the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Fine Arts, which was presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Aqil Saleh and Assistant Professor Dr. Rola Abdel-Ilah and M. M. Hadeel Ayad, included the knowledge and cultural exchange between the two countries and ways to develop in the field of art, especially ceramics.
The symposium dealt with the experiences of Saudi potters and their contemporary experiences in creating new materials, mixing them with clay, and methods of burning and glazing in modern ways.
The symposium showed the participation of modern Saudi experiences to benefit from the students of the College of Fine Arts
The symposium received a distinguished presence from the college students and professors, led by the Dean of the College of Fine Arts, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Abdullah Al-Kinani.
