The Department of Chemistry, College of science organized a seminar about water purification using adsorbents. The presenter, Dalfaa Salman has explained water pollution and the types of pollutants and the pollutant removal methods. Also, she has showed the adsorption method by using activated carbon. Three research articles were reviewed in the seminar about the removal of two dye pollutants from aquous solution, which are Crystal violet and Methylene blue
