A scientific study at the College of Science at the University of Basrah, prepared by the research team, Dr. Hassan Thamer Abdul-Saheb, Dr. Faris Abdul-Reza Al-Dogji, and PhD student Zuhair Ali Abdul-Nabi, examined the use of a new method to prepare nanoparticles of the compound (selenazone) and its complexes with ions of lead, cadmium, cobalt and nickel using a hot methanol solvent
The study included conducting molar conductivity measurements for all the prepared complexes that showed low values in DMSO
The results of the study concluded that all the metal complexes were non-electrolytes except for the nickel complex which has an electrolytic nature
