The study, which was published in the Egyption Journal of Chemistry, classified within Scopus containers, showed the preparation of two series of organic chalcogen compounds
The study included the preparation of iodo derivatives of selenides and cyclic tellurides and the study of the thermal stability of organic selenides at 300oC
The results of the study concluded that the thermogram is a phase transition point at a temperature ranging from 120-150 oC, which indicates that these compounds may act as liquid crystals.
