The lecturers showed the important timing for the reproduction of different types of fish and the mechanisms that should be followed in fishing in order to preserve and sustain fish species. The lecturers also discussed the legislation laid down in Iraqi laws on overfishing and explained to the attendees, including the fishermen who are scattered in the governorate, the importance of adhering to the legal regulations.
