The College of Science at the University of Basra joined a panel discussion on (The Effect of Chemical Agents on Biofilm Formation of Bacteria Isolated from Women with Genital Diseases)
For a graduate student (Israa Sami Othman), the study aims to isolate and diagnose bacteria that cause sexual diseases from vaginal secretions, determine drug sensitivity to pathological isolates, study the growth rate of E.coli and E.faecalis bacteria, and know the effect of Salicylic acid and Benzoyl Peroxide on previous bacteria and the detection of Quorum Sensing luxS gene from E. faecalis and detection of biofilm in pathogenic bacteria.
