The University of Basra organized a symposium on "Combating Smoking" with the participation of researchers and specialists. The symposium included a lecture by the Aseel Omar Muslim to increase the awareness of all faculty members about the anti-smoking law No. 19 of 2012 in order to protect citizens from smoking hazards like health, social, environmental, economic hazards
