College of Nursing Announcements Alaa Al Husseini Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Abdul-Amir Abdullah Al-Mousawi, Dean of the College of Nursing, University of Basra. Our college organized a scientific lecture on self-medication, in which Prof. Dr. Samira Muhammad Ibrahim and Dr. Atour Taleb lectured. The lecture was attended by Dr. Hisham Hussein Abdel-Raouf, Associate Dean for Administrative Affairs at the College of Nursing, and a group of his professor and college staff. The lecture included about self-medication, the reasons for its use, and the potential risks of self-medication And the potential benefits of self-medication and temporary risks of self-medication. It also includes the practice of spiritual exercise in aiding treatment, such as changing the food pattern to beneficial foods, using medicinal herbs, improving fitness with exercise, eliminating negative feelings and having positive feelings. The lecture aims to spread the culture of integrative medicine, which works to exploit the mind as a self-pharmacy to treat mental and physical illnesses |
