Dr. Osama Qassem Khalifa, a lecturer in the Department of Applied Marine Sciences, was a member in the debate of an MSc candidate, Saba Nabil Abd, from the College of Education for Human Sciences. Her thesis was entitled "The relationship between morphometric and hydrological characteristics and their impact on the characteristics and distribution of sediments in the Wadi Al-Batin Basin in southern Iraq." From his part, Dr. Osama was granted a letter of thanks and appreciation from the Dean of the College of Human Sciences in view of his efforts and participation in the debate.
