The College of Nursing at Basra University participated in the scientific conference of family medicine held in the Holy Karbala Health Department. The conference included a discussion of a large group of scientific research that examines primary health problems and the family medicine system. (Sundus Baqir Jabr)) with the participation of Dr. ((Salem Issa Sajjad)) and Dr. ((Sawsan Abdel Razzaq)). The aim of the research is to assess the knowledge of college students about the importance of pre-marriage examination, to seek educational programs on pre-marital examinations and to increase cooperation between the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Ministry of Health in order to develop a strategy that increases students' knowledge, and to support the role of clerics to educate about pre-marital examinations To reduce the percentage of hereditary diseases and infections. The conference included several axes of solid scientific research on family medicine, mother and child health, the health of the elderly and how to deal with them, and at the end of the conference a certificate of participation was distributed. |
