The College of Nursing at Basra University organized its scientific symposium on the emerging corona virus, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, President of Basra University, and with the participation of researchers from Basra University, in which Prof. Dr. Abdul-Amir Abdullah Yaqoub, Dr. Sajjad Salem Issa, teacher Karim Ali Qasim and Dr. Sundus Baqer Dawood, attended the seminar. To spread cultural and scientific awareness and to know the basic and main causes of this deadly virus because it is a virus that causes the infection of the upper respiratory system and throat infections, and to know the basic ways to protect us from this virus. The symposium included several axes, the most important of which is a general picture of the disease, its history and methods of prevention, and the second axis dealt with awareness of the disease with clips A video, the third axis deals with the new virus and its characteristics, and the fourth axis deals with the spread of the disease. The researchers called for taking the necessary precautions by avoiding contact with infected patients and avoiding direct interaction with animals. At the end of the seminar, Prof. Dr. Nael Hussein Ali, Dean of the College, said that it seeks to improve its scientific output. |
