The President of the University of Basrah, Prof. Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, accompanied by the Dean of the College of Sciences, Dr. Mowaffaq Fadel Al-Shahwan, and the Associate Dean of Scientific Affairs Dr. Alaa Hassan Abdullah, the Associate Dean for Administrative Affairs, Dr. Majid Nuri, inspected the progress of maintenance work in the various facilities of the college, such as reviewing the rehabilitation of the central park and the stages of completion of the central laboratory. Installing large generators for the College of Science within the sustainability work for electricity and following up the details of the exterior cladding of the streets surrounding the Colleges of Science and Engineering
