Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, President of the University of Basra, and under the direct supervision of Prof. Dr. Abdul-Amir Abdullah Al-Moussawi, Dean of the College of Nursing at the University of Basra This morning, Monday, 12/13/2021, our college organized an educational symposium on public safety and an explanation of the correct ways to use the types of firefighters, in the presence of the teacher, Dr. The symposium dealt with introducing the aspects related to safety and prevention to spread the culture of evacuating buildings and dealing with fires and introducing the types of extinguishing tools and how to deal with them in cases of accidents. The lecture also touched on the procedures that must be followed in case of accidents, the evacuation plan in case of emergency, in addition to the importance of having a safety official.
