The College of Science, Department of Physics hold seminar on “Circulation Tumor Cells Detection Method Based on Piezoelectric Materials”. The presenter Raad Adnan Abdulnabi Alawajji demonstrates the most important objectives of study. Circulating tumor cells (CTCs)—the main reason for metastasis—cause around 90% of cancer-related deaths. Therefore, a new biosensor based on quartz crystal resonator was designed and fabricated to promote uniform mass distribution for CTCs detection.
