The College of Computer Science and Information Technology, under the supervision of the Dean of the College, Dr. Salma Abdel-Baqi Mahmoud Al-Mahrama, organized a scientific lecture on “Diagnosing Diabetic Retinopathy Using Deep Learning and Data Mining Algorithm” in which the student Nour Muhammad Juma’a from the Department of Computer Information Systems for Graduate Studies/Masters explained about its use in The research submitted to obtain a master’s degree under the supervision of Dr. Raeda Salem Strajetin for the early detection of diabetic retinopathy, which is one of the complications that affect patients with diabetes
The first strategy included developing an appropriate model for diagnosing the disease into its five stages, and in the second, relying on the extracted deep traits to evaluate the performance of the developed model with performance measures, which demonstrated high efficiency compared to previous studies.
