The Department of Geology at the College of Science at the University of Basrah organized a ceremony to honor Prof. Dr. Badr Neamat Al-Badran for his retirement and for his assumption of the position of President of Al-Maqal Al-Ahliya University, in the presence of the Dean of the college of Science, Dr. Muwaffaq Fadhel Al-Shahwan, the Head of the Department of Earth Sciences, Dr. Abbas Hamid Muhammad, and a group of faculty and staff.
