Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Thamer Ahmad Hamdan, President of Basra University, the College of Nursing held a celebration on the occasion of the 49th anniversary of the founding of Basra University. The President of the University gave a speech in which he praised what had been achieved in the College of Nursing during this year, after which the Dean of the College, Dr. Nael Hussein Ali, gave a speech in which he explained some of the achievements, then the scientific assistant Dr. Abdul Amir Abdullah Al-Mousawi presented some of the scientific innovations and achievements made by the college as well as the obstacles And the future visions that the college seeks to achieve. In his speech, the administrative assistant, Dr. Mahfouz Faleh Hassan, presented the most important achievements made by the college within the administrative development and infrastructure of the college. The ceremony included the opening of a plastic art exhibition with the participation of the college’s students. Dr. Thamer Ahmad Hamdan praised the college’s role in providing opportunities for creativity to the college’s students, as their specialization was far from plastic art. Who was taken on a tour inside the college and was briefed on the most prominent obstacles and needs of the college as the college is newly established.
During his tour, the Clinical Skills Laboratory was inaugurated, and the specialized medical staff reviewed the most important stereoscopic devices, medical equipment and laboratory devices that are used in the education of college students. The Dean of the College handed over the President of Basra University, Prof. Dr. Thamrah Hamad Hamdan, the college’s shield, and gifts and certificates of appreciation were distributed to the distinguished teachers, employees and first students. |
