Once again, the Central Library opened its doors to receive a group of middle-aged students of bright stars from all academic levels... by embracing the school director, Mr. Bassem Yahya Askar, Mrs. Nour Abdel Karim, Mrs. Hoda Abdul-Hadi, and Mrs. Hanadi Hamed.
Where the stars received the Secretary-General of the Central Library, Dr. Tawfiq Al-Hajjaj.. and Professor Abdul-Jabbar Obeid, Director of Continuing Education, who explained to the stars an overview of the history of the library and its valuable books that represent the legacy of the ancient civilization to contribute to educating the Iraqi individual and society.
A panel discussion took place in the Indian Corner Hall, through what the stars learned about the stages that our ancient library followed.
After that, the Global Corner hosted them by playing a documentary film that talks about the beloved Basra and its bright past and prosperous present.
