Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, President of the University of Basra, and under the direct supervision of Prof. Dr. Abdulameer Abdullah Al-Moussawi, Dean of the College of Nursing at the University of Basra, and in cooperation with the Oil Training Institute in Basra The College of Nursing at the University of Basra organized an awareness seminar on Tuesday, 12/28/2021, on osteoporosis and its complications and arthrosis, which was attended by Dr. Sundus Baqir Daoud, head of the Fundamentals of Nursing branch, and teacher Dr. Muhammad Reda Akbar, a faculty member at the College of Nursing at Basra University. The symposium included addressing arthritis and its impact on working women and identifying the causes of osteoporosis and its complications in old age. The target group was the employees of the Oil Training Institute in Basra. On his part, Prof. Dr. Abdul-Amir Abdullah Al-Moussawi, Dean of the College, stressed that these visits are among the important steps to enhance cooperation between the College and the Petroleum Training Institute in Basra Governorate and between all state departments and to enhance cooperation between them.
