The College of Pharmacy at the University of Basrah organized a reception for first-year students admitted for the academic year 2021/2022. The ceremony opened with a welcoming speech delivered by the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Falah Hassan Shari, where he welcomed the new students and wished them academic years full of diligence and hard work. Then the Assistant of the Dean for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Mudar Alfindi, gave a speech in which he explained the laws of student discipline and the necessity of adhering to them and the consequences of violating the laws and what could expose the student to dismissal or warning, in addition to the penalties for repeated absence and what penalties the student will bear for violating the instructions. Then one of the fifth-year students gave his experience during his academic career in the college and all the circumstances that his colleagues might face.
