This morning, the Council of the College of Nursing at the University of Basra held its periodic meeting of its college council on Tuesday (1/4/2022) headed by Prof. Dr. Abdul-Amir Abdullah Al-Musawi, Dean of the College of Nursing at the University of Basra, and in the presence of the teacher, Dr. Hisham Hussein Abdul-Raouf, Associate Dean for Administrative Affairs, and Mr. Adel Ali Hussein, Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs, and all members of the College Council, where the recent instructions of the Ministry, the directives of the President of the University of Basra, and the college’s readiness to participate in the graduation ceremony sponsored by the University of Basra and scheduled for Monday 10/1/2022 were discussed. On the stadiums of the Sports City in Basra, the mechanism of receiving new students for evening studies was discussed and all the difficulties faced by the registration process were overcome. The most important obstacles that accompany the work of the college and the need to overcome them were also discussed. Al-Moussawi called on faculty members and students to exercise their voluntary awareness-raising role to combat this epidemic. He did not forget the role of our educational institution in exercising its humanitarian and scientific role in the participation of the people of the province to take into account the humanitarian cases. The meeting concluded by praying to God Almighty to release our country, Muslim countries and humanity from the demise of this epidemic and to heal the sick that he is hearing prayers.
