On Monday, 3rd January 2022, Ms. Atyaf Muhammad Abd Al-Muttalib from the Department of Applied Marine Sciences in CMS has organized a scientific trip to the Meteorological Center at the International Airport of Basrah. The trip was set for students of the 2nd level at the department studying Meteorology course. They were also accompanied by teaching members Ms. Zainab Jaafar and Mr. Salah Mahdi. Weather forecaster Sadiq Attia and his colleagues at the Meteorological Center welcomed the group and showed them the available atmospheric measuring devices and explained the different methods used for calculating weather and climate patterns in Basrah Airport. Then they accompanied the students and staff members to the tour of the airport at which the staff of the tour gave details of their work there. The students also witnessed the take of instructions of some airplanes at that time.
