CMS Dean, Prof Dr. Hamid T. Al-Saad (as a supervisor), and Prof. Dr. Donia Khairallah Khassaf from the Department of Applied Marine Sciences (as a member), have participated in the debate committee of the Master of Science candidate, Israa Abd Al-Kareem Ta’ban, from the Marine Science Centre. The debate was held on 5th January 2022 in the College of Science, Department of Environment. The candidate’s thesis was entitled “Studying the concentration of some organochlorine pesticides in the surface sediments of Shatt Al-Arab River”. The candidate was granted an honour degree at the debate.
