The College of Nursing at the University of Basra was organized under the direct supervision and support of Prof. Dr. Abdul-Amir Abdullah Al-Musawi, Dean of the College of Nursing at the University of Basra A field visit to a child care home in Basra Governorate The visit took place with the participation of the teacher, Dr. Abdul Muttalib Abdullah, the teacher Loay Shehab Abdul Wahed, and Mr. Alaa Jabbar Raheef, and with the participation of a number of college students. The visit included several axes represented in exercising the human role of the nurse towards society and caring for children. The visit aimed to achieve realistic knowledge of the students about the privacy of this segment and to provide moral, material and health support to it. In addition to the students’ practice of their nursing role in caring for patients, as well as the students’ practice of their nursing role in caring for patients and achieving the objectives of the curricula. This visit comes within the context of the productive college that provides academic and health services granted by the college to the community with the available capabilities as voluntary activities practiced by the college within a planned program.
