On Sunday, 9/1/ 2022, the College of Marine Sciences opened its charitable bazaar, in the presence of the staff members and students of the college and visitors. The bazaar was organized in cooperation between Ms. Haifa Abd Al-Mohsen Head of Media Unit and Ms. Zainab Abbas, the student activities officer at the college. Several students participates in the bazaar. The activities were various including drawing, handicrafts, accessories, and cooking. A special place was set for agricultural nurseries and some cultural libraries. The bazaar was successful in gathering an amount of money which will be gifted to the patients at the Children's Hospital for Cancer Diseases in Basrah.
