Under the slogan (they sow giving and reap loyalty), the Department of Mathematics at the College of Education for Pure Sciences at the University of Basra held a ceremony to honor the teacher (Dr. Issa delivered a speech in which he praised the distinguished role and efforts exerted by Dr. Jawad Mahmoud Jassem in raising the scientific level of students and for what he has provided during these long years in the service of the scientific and administrative process of the department.
