The Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences hosted a memorialceremony for alhashd alshabi organized by a group of students of Basra University from different colleges. The ceremony was attended by a alhashd alshabi leaders and military figures as well as a group of university teachers in the presence of the college dean in support of this student activity.

The ceremony included a group of paragraphs, including a word for the deacon and a word for one of the leaders, in addition to the review of some military achievements during the liberation operations from ISIS terrorist. From his side, the head of the college, Professor Dr. Sabah Mahdi Karim, pointed out that the college opens its doors to all student activities, especially those that strengthen us and our children, and bring us back to the memories of the heroism, courage and what the hero fighters in Suh Jihad deserve to be celebrated.
