Master Thesis at College of Pharmacy discussed antibacterial activity of new compounds
College of pharmacy at University of Basrah presented Master Thesis final seminar entitled (preparation, diagnosis and study of the antibacterial efficacy of new compounds of 1,3,4-oxadiazole derivatives) by M.Sc student Suhail Hussein Jawad . The thesis included three chapters, the first chapter was the introduction about the subject of the thesis and the review of the literatures .The second chapter was methods to prepare new compounds . Third chapter showed the results and discussed in detail .
The study aimed to prepare a new series of oxadiazole compounds and measure the effectiveness of these compounds against two types of bacteria (positive and Gram negative) as the chemical composition of the prepared compounds was diagnosed by physiochemical properties, photosynthesis and accurate quantitative in addition to magnetic resonance The study concluded that some of the prepared compounds showed anti-bacterial efficacy, and some of these compounds that contain polar groups showed good results against resistant bacteria when using different concentrations of the prepared compounds.
