The College of Dentistry University of Basrah participated in the annual central graduation ceremony for the 54th session (our learning is out goal) held in the gardens of the Central Library in Bab Al-Zubair Colleges Complex on Wednesday, January 26, 2022.
The ceremony saw the attendance of the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Assistant. Professor Dr. Fateh Al-Khakani, Dean's Assistant in Administrative Affairs, a few of the academic teaching personnel, some employees and the students with their families.
The ceremony began with verses from the Holy Quran, followed by a reciting of Surat Al-Fatihah on the souls of the martyrs of Iraq, then a speech by the President of the University, Professor Dr. Saad Shaheen Hamadi, in which he praised the role of the academic teaching personnel and students in the success of the past academic year despite the difficult circumstances that the country experienced.
Hamadi indicated that the University of Basrah was on a high degree of responsibility in challenging these conditions and determination on achieving success.
At the end of the ceremony, the President of the University handed the Bachelor’s Degrees to the students then the graduation oath was recited by the President of the University, Deans of several colleges and some of the governmental officials.
