The Educational Guidance Division, in cooperation with the Department of English and Evening Studies Students at the College of Arts, organized an awareness lecture to talk about the danger of drugs and their social effects on society in general and on the students community in particular.
The lecture aimed at educating young people about the dangers and harms of drugs and ways to combat them, in addition to the damage they cause to the human nervous system, narcotic pills, and the resulting hallucinations and social crimes that often lead the drug user to suicide. It also urged to point out the dangers of drugs in the disintegration of the family, as family disputes abound due to the material requirements of the addict in order to obtain narcotic substances, which affects the economic situation of the family, and in many cases it leads to crimes and immoral violations.
