A delegation from the University of Bonn in Switzerland visited the College of Engineering at the University of Basrah, and they were received by the Dean of the College of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Ramzy Salim Ali, Administrative Assistant, Dr. Musab Adel Ali, and Head of the Architectural Engineering Department, Dr. Hamed Hayab Samir
The purpose of the visit was to review the products and projects of the students in the Department of Architecture, learn about the curricula and compare them with the curricula used in their universities, and discuss how to encourage students to use the local Iraqi heritage elements in construction.
