
The College of Dentistry University of Basrah organizes a course for the college's employees on the method of drafting official communications and the life cycle of both of the Incoming and outgoing mails.
The course that was delivered by Mr. Najem Abdul Wadood Aljazairy, Director of the Information Technology Unit, included some of the errors in the way of writing official communications and the basics of editing administrative orders from the clarification of the subject and the of responding to official communications.
The lecture dealt with the necessity of committing to the correct phrases, avoiding grammatical and linguistic errors, and writing official communications and letters in smooth and easy methods that the reader can understand, taking into account the accuracy in choosing words so that there is no loss in the rights of individuals or cause harm to them.
The course aims to educate the new employees in the art of dealing with official papers and administrative orders and to know the important details in the chain of transmission of incoming and outgoing papers and the most important stations that these books go through.
