Basrah - College of Pharmacy Media:
Under the directives of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and the supervision of the President of the University of Basrah and the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, a team of professors and staff from the College of Pharmacy initiated a voluntary campaign on Thursday, March 5, 2020, to sterilize and disinfect the college's halls, laboratories, and corridors. This was carried out as part of the precautionary measures to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus epidemic and as part of voluntary community services.
Professor Dr. Falah Hassan Shari, Dean of the College of Pharmacy, indicated that these efforts are voluntary, stemming from a sense of responsibility and dedication to serving the university and the college.
He added: "The materials used for sterilization were chlorine and Dettol, diluted with water according to scientific ratios, using specialized agricultural sprayers for this purpose."
