The directory included the names of all faculty members who hold the title of professor and assistant professor, as well as their general and exact specialization, their places of work, their phone numbers and emails for each department in the College of Education for Human Sciences, and the corresponding departments in the Colleges of Education for Human Sciences in other universities. Note that an electronic copy will be sent to each college that is a counterpart to the College of Education for Human Sciences at the University of Basra; Editing by deletion and creation.
The purpose of preparing the guide was; It is to raise the scientific level and develop the educational process, and this is through:
1- The exchange of discussing professors between the humanities colleges from the corresponding departments in all Iraqi universities without trouble, and without repetition in scientific discussions, and in the scientific evaluation of theses and theses, as well as scientific journals to evaluate their research.
2- Reducing nepotism and nepotism in discussions, as it is required to oblige the heads of departments to invite the debaters according to the sequence in the guide, and not to exceed any teaching, and thus raise the scientific level of the graduate student and some supervising professors, so that they have no choice but to complete the research correctly, as they have no knowledge Who will discuss their views or letters.
3- Forming a committee in the College of Graduate Studies for discussions, to have this guide that is sent annually to add those who have obtained new scientific titles and delete those who have been discharged from service and the deceased. Thus, the specialized department may not need to set up a committee; Because the directory contains the names of all title holders in all university departments from the corresponding to our university, it is possible for this committee to determine the discussion committees for any department by simply sending the required specialization.
It is worth noting that the guide was prepared by the Professor of Curricula and Teaching Methods (Dr. Nidaa Muhammad Baqir Al-Yasiri) under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Education for Human Sciences (Professor Dr. Hamid Jaber Siraj). From him to the corresponding colleges in other universities.
