On Sunday morning, 27/2/2022, a civil defense team from the Basrah Governorate visited the College of Marine Science building. The team was received by the Associated Dean for Administrative Affairs; Dr. Ali Mehdi, and the head of the Department of Natural Marine Sciences; Prof. Abdul-Hussein Hatem Ghazi. The team was accompanied in a tour around the college’s divisions and had a thorough discussion on civil defense topics. Training courses by the Civil Defense Directorate at the college will be set to teach important emergency proceedures the staff and students of CMS.
