A seminar was held at the College of Nursing / University of Basra on (Controlling Communicable Diseases) for the Arab Board students, in which (Prof. Dr. Sajjad Salem Issa) was present. The discussion included the most important transitional diseases present in Iraq and how to control them, which include cholera, flaccid polio, viral hepatitis (type B), and acquired immunodeficiency (AIDS), and with regard to the most important recommendations that came out of the seminar, which is to introduce students to the most important communicable diseases. As well as familiarizing them with the WHO strategy to control these communicable diseases. |
